This is my second year working at the Refuge du Pré de Chaumette, and I still feel incredibly grateful to be here. Each season brings new faces, new stories, and new moments that remind me why I came back.
During the day, I usually have a couple of hours off. Those quiet hours are precious. They give me time to slow down, breathe deeply, and truly take in my surroundings. I am so lucky to be in this region, surrounded by mountains that feel both powerful and peaceful at the same time.
Working in a place like this is more than just a job. It’s an experience that reconnects me with nature every single day. And for that, I am deeply thankful.
